Distance Learning OptionsText-Based or Web-BasedNorthwest Florida State College's distance learning courses offer a creative mix of textbooks, Internet based instruction, study guides, written assignments, exams and ongoing communications between students and faculty. Students take control of their own education by working and learning at home! Distance learning courses are taught by teaching faculty who are certified in the relevant subject matter, and are available to answer your questions via phone or computer, or to meet with you personally. Students who enroll in distance learning courses must pick up course student guides at the MANDATORY orientation session scheduled at the beginning of each college term. Click the following to learn more about how each type of course may be conducted. NOTICE:It is the policy of Northwest Florida State College to offer the highest quality service to our students. Every effort is made to provide uninterrupted access to our web based classes; however, there may be times when your D2L classroom is not available to you. This may be the result of routine server maintenance, Internet Service Provider issues, equipment failure, or other problems beyond our control. While our goal is to provide you with uninterrupted classroom access, technical assistance is available only during normal business hours, or from your instructor during posted office hours. |
